How it started

Isla Lune began during one of the most transformative times of my life , pregnancy and new motherhood.

As a self-employed singing teacher, I found myself with little income and a lot of uncertainty. Navigating pregnancy while relying on maternity allowance brought its own set of worries, especially as I prepared for a new chapter of life.

After a difficult birth and an emergency c-section with my daughter, Isla, I faced a challenging recovery, both physically and mentally. During that time, I discovered t-shirt yarn and stumbled across photos of beautiful crochet bags. I gave it a go and instantly fell in love with the process. Creating something with my hands became a form of therapy, each stitch helped me heal.

Now, just two months postpartum, I'm channeling that energy into building Isla Lune, a small business born from recovery, creativity, and love. Every bag is handmade by me, and each one is a little part of this journey.

Thank you for being here and supporting something so personal. I'm so excited to share my creations with you.
